She instilled strong work ethic into all of us, which, thankfully, we have we have managed to pass on to our children. One of the incredible moments in my parenthood was when my son, barely out of his teens, said to me ‘Thank you for allowing me to make my own decisions and thank you for giving me a strong work ethic.’ I told him that it came from his grandmother.
