A deacon in the Church of Beautiful Losers. Terrifying and inspirational. Her best poem, “Sure You Can Ask Me a Personal Question,” was exactly like its author: smart, funny, and tragic, wrapped in a package of devastating cool. Trust me on this: a hundred years from now we’ll still be talking about Diane.
