Graduate of Sunset HS. Raced 4-cylinder stock cars. Wanted to be soldier since age 10; enlisted also because of GI Bill. Felt he was making a difference in Afghanistan. Loved children, and looked forward to being father; wife was pregnant with their son when he was killed.
