As a furniture designer and maker, I admire her work and have imagined trying to make a place in the early 20th century as a young woman with a modernist æsthetic, and with peers like Gropius, van der Rohe and Rietveld. Though her body of work is small, it is every bit as relevant as that of her male peers.
