This blanket was given to me by one of the blanket weaver/designers at Pendleton Woolen Mills. I was a color consultant for them at the time. At the same time my husband brought home an abandoned puppy Lab/Rottweiler mix—Elwood. He was tiny and about 5 weeks old. Elwood snuggled up on this blanket when he was brought home, from that day until he died 18 years later. He slept with this blanket on the couch, on the bed, traveling, visiting, snoozing in the studio. Elwood loved to travel and meet humans and animals. He had quite a fan club.
