The yarn that makes up this blanket is leftover from a yarn project I did in 2013. Three structures and two trees were covered in crocheted yarn to make a public art installation. Once the exhibit was over, the pieces were washed and reconfigured into child-sized blankets. Those blankets along with many other crocheted blankets (40 in all!) were donated to a local children’s organization. I’m happy that this yarn can have another life in another fiber arts project.
