When Jeffrey and I were expecting our first child, I was teaching second grade in the Northshore School District in Woodinville, WA.

A substitute teacher secretly met with my students to make this quilt as a surprise for me. Some of the students put their name on their square. All the children were great at keeping this a secret. Jeff and I used this quilt for both our daughter and son when they were babies. We would put the quilt on the floor, lay our baby on it and then play with them.
