My mother, Loretta Daily Brehm, made each grandchild a crib blanket when they were born. We spent 24 years in the Air Force traveling the world so each blanket was a touch of home. Our first grandchild (and second) were born here so we chose to retire to Tacoma. Now my sister continues to make blankets for the next generation.
