I received this blanket 50 years ago, when I was 10 years old, on a trip to Canada. I used it regularly for 20 years and it has been in a cedar chest for the last 20 years. It has a special place in my heart, and as a Hudson Bay Blanket, it felt appropriate to be a part of this sculpture, as part of a healing and joining ceremony.
