My dad, Dave Watt, moved West (to the Pacific Northwest) from Wyoming, where his parents, educators and ranchers, lived on a family homestead in Arveda. An engineering graduate, my dad worked at Boeing for 31 years. In his retired life he wears many hats: ski instructor, engineering retirees society member / president, devoted grandfather, arts patron (opera, ballet, visual arts), and artist assistant and roadie (helping me, his daughter Marie, on a variety of art and sculpture installation projects that require the intellect of an engineer and the faith of a father).
