Perhaps this blanket was a wedding present; if so, it is thirty years old now. Being 100 percent wool made up for the fact that I was never very fond of the color. There is really nothing so remarkable to say about the many years it belonged to me. Only that the blanket fringe was used to teach both my children how to braid, greatly enhancing the look of the blanket.
