College, Friends

I was a “starving” senior in college with a part time job and needed a blanket. With 7 siblings, there was no extra. A friend who worked at a department store got a discount on a kind size blanket for my twin bed. This was 37 years ago. It made it through a wedding proposal, unannounced family members dropping by overnight, daughters’ slumber parties, trips in the summer and on our bed until just a couple years ago.
