I inherited several quilts from both sides of my family from Indiana. This quilt represents all of those quilts. It is from my paternal side, and it hung on the wall of my eldest son’s home for several years.
We use a quilt from my mother’s side on our guest bed. This quilt traveled from Indiana to Alaska with my mother in the late 1940s, then came to Oregon with me.
These quilts are an important part of my family heritage.
