When my son was beginning to walk, he had to keep his blue crib blanket with him. He would walk around with it over his shoulder, dragging it along wherever he went. He also sat with it, sucked his thumb and stroked the satin binding. He couldn’t be parted from it. I eventually had to cut it in half so I could wash it.
