(This is a “stand-in” for my bed quilt). My grandmother, Jennie Kilgo, made my sister and I each a bed quilt for our bunkbeds that we shared. My quilt had the little girl with brown hair and brown eyes and my sister’s quilt had a girl with blonde hair and blue eyes. We loved having matching quilts yet personalized for us. My quilt has held up well, considering my grandmother made it in 1968.
