One year for Christmas, my aunt gave me a quilt she made for me. The quilt was blue and had horses; my favorite color and favorite animal.
It wasn’t until years later, when my wife began quilting, that I realized the amount of time and effort that my aunt put into that quilt she made for me. It was a greater gift than I had realized in the beginning, but now I truly value that quilt, the gift, and the many times we have used it to snuggle over the years.
