I have worked for the US. Department of State for 25 years on Pakistan projects. I am pleased to send this basket quilt for the Blanket Stories work. The history of basket design quilts is honoring Colonial times when ladies would make use of baskets to gather food and domestic items to sew, etc. This quilt belonged to my mother-in-law, Hannah Campbell Boatwright of Staunton, Virginia.
